What is padel?

Padel is a fast-growing racquet sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. It's played in doubles on an enclosed court with glass walls. The game is fun, easy to learn, and highly social!

Where is Padel Montagu located?

We’re located right next to the Montagu Tennis Club — easy to find, with parking and lovely mountain views!

When is Padel Montagu opening?

We’re launching very soon! Fill out our survey to stay in the loop and be the first to hear about our opening date and special events.

Who can play?

Everyone! Adults, teens, kids, beginners, pros — if you can swing a paddle, you’re welcome!

Booking & Playing

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking your court online in advance to secure your slot — especially during peak times like afternoons and weekends.

How do I book a court?

How long is a session?

Standard bookings are for 60 minutes, but you can book longer sessions depending on availability.

Can I play if I’ve never played before?

Absolutely! We’re all about making padel accessible. You can sign up for a beginner session or come to a friendly social game.

Are there instructors or coaches?

Yes! We will have beginner clinics and friendly coaching available for those who want to improve their skills or just get started.

Do you offer group or kids sessions?

We sure do! We’re planning fun, safe group sessions for children after school and social game slots for adults in the evenings and weekends.

Pricing & Equipment

How much does it cost to play?

Pricing will be affordable and community-friendly. Expect hourly rates for courts, as well as special memberships and packages. Full details will be available at launch.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Not at all! You can rent paddles and buy balls on-site. We’ve got you covered.

What should I wear?

Any comfortable, activewear is great. Court shoes or sneakers with good grip are recommended.

Do you sell gear?

Yes! Our shop will stock quality paddles, balls, and starter sets for all ages and levels.

Facilities & Extras

Is there parking available?

Yes, plenty of parking is available right near the courts.

Can I bring friends or spectators?

Of course! Padel is just as fun to watch as it is to play. There will be seating and a relaxed vibe around the courts.

Is there a social area or café?

We’re working on adding a social chill zone soon — somewhere to relax and connect after your game.

Will there be tournaments or events?

Yes! We’ll be running friendly competitions, school events, and maybe even a local league. Stay tuned!
